How to find MAF signal wire

I am trying to install an MAF enhancer on a Toyota 4runner. I have the wire diagram showing 5 wires, 3 go to the computer (tha, e2g, vg ).
Is there a way to tell which wire is the signal wire.

On my Ford I stripped the insulation a little on the wires and measured for voltage with the engine running. The wire that has a variable voltage of 1-5 volts depending on engine RPM is the one you want. when you increse the RPM the voltage climbs.
Should be the same on the Toyota. From the wiring diagram I suspected 1 of 2 wires but the above method was the only way to know for sure which one because the descriptions in the diagram were vague.
