    Question Will this cheap relay work?

    Another Newbie with another question!

    I found this 30amp 12v relay and I'm hoping it will work. Here is the specs:

    Coil Voltage 12 volt DC
    Contacts SPDT
    Amp Rating 30
    Terminals Push on
    Size 1" x 1" x 1-3/4"

    These are a lot cheaper than an Echlin ST85 solenoid.

    These are the only relays I've used and they are OK.
    Make sure to limit them to about 20 amps and make sure the push on connections are tight and crimped to the wire properly. Most of them fail by getting to hot on the connections not the insides. Not a bad idea to solder the connections up once you get it permanent.
