Confused please explain

I am researching HHO for my 2005 ford escape 3.0l and have come across a issue and I am not very sure what to do. I am pretty sure my car has a MAP sensor with one o2 sensor. If I understand it correctly for my car if I modify the signal to the computer from the MAP the computer will go into closed loop shortly after I change the setting. Thus the computer will trim the settings each time I make any changes to the MAF and go into closed loop.
So if I am correct in my HHO schooling I am not to sure where to go from here. Any ideas or am I wrong
