    Tubing and Fittings

    Hello guys,

Since it's hard to find 1/4" fittings and tubing, I thought of ordering them from US Plastic ( www.usplastic.com ).

For tubing, I was thinking of using flexibles ones:

    - HDPE ( http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/ite...3758&catid=707 )

    or

    - Polypropylene ( http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/ite...2919&catid=713 )

Both can withstand temperatures up to 180-200 degrees F.

However, both need compression fittings rather than insert-on/barbed fittings. ( that's what US Plastic suggests on their site )

I haven't seen anyone using compression fittings, so I was wondering if they're suitable for HHO.

    What do you think ?

Any advice will be very much appreciated !

    Andrei.

the system im working on is useing this 3/8 poly tubing with the push in connectors. Ive seen people say they have issues with O rings they use in the dry cell itself but I think that is due to uneven pressure and possibly the break down of the rubber o rings. Im thinking I might just seal all the possible failure points with weld on. I guess this doesnt really answer your question at all but youre not alone in the wondering
