    Vinegar?

I currently use water and baking soda. Is there any advantage or disadvantage to using vinegar? What type of mixture do you use to use vinegar?

I played around with vinegar for a while... Wasn't very impressed with the results. Also, vinegar has a lower boiling point than water so it heats up fast.

Constractor of my cell suggests vinegar as electrolyte:
''We recommend using vinegar and distilled water with this specific cell design, you can achieve greater efficiencies with electrolytes such as potassium hydroxide but the dangers involved don’t justify the small increases.''

I really like to try KOH but i am afraid for my Molybdenum/Nickel electrodes...

I have the same cell as you and i am trying pure citric acid and distilled water, its early to tell but i had to strong a solution and blew a 30 amp fuseyou don't need much, i am waiting for my amp gauge to arrive to monitor my cell production,
