SM Fuel Cell

So has anyone here tried to reproduce Stan's Fuel Cell?

Is it too expensive?
Is it too complex?

I've read blogs of other people that created it. If you do a google search for D14.pdf, this document contains the instructions for creating his FC.

My first thought is.....why waste my time when nobody seems to have it working properly yet! I can at least enjoy the better economy I am getting now than mess around with a project which has had thousands of followers working on, with little or no results!
