Army ammo Box for hho container

I visited and army navy store over the weekend and come upon a metal ammo box and thought i would try it for my hho container. It has a real nice water tight rubber seal.. I filled it with water, turned it upside down for an hour and no leaks whatsoever..Only problem is what can I line the inside of the box with to insulate it from the electrolite (sodium Hydroxide)...I've looked at the plasticoat spray on bed liner but not sure how well it insulates or will it stand up to the electrolite...
