I found some stainless steel wire, will glue on electricall tape work?

Heat Shrink Tubing is better. I think the glue won't stand up during the electrolysis precess.

If you want to buy it off the 'net just google or ebay "heat shrink tubing"... but if you want to go out & buy it, Radio Shack, or I found some at ACE Hardware. I think Home Depot & Lowe's should have it too.

I got mine at home depot in the lighting/electrical section. Its with splice connectors and cable (zip) ties.
