View Full Version : Ultrasonic cell?

I've been sitting on this idea for awhile, and decided I would throw it out there for comment.

Since it is a generally accepted rule that some sort of resonant frequency aids in splitting water, what do all of y'all (I couldn't say that when I lived in Michigan. :D ) think about this concept?

Use this ultrasonic parts cleaner for the cell housing. Presumably, the ultrasonic frequency would really knock the bubbles off the cell. I'd really like to try it out, but I'm not convinced to the extent that I'd pay $170 to find out.

Thoughts?

You would need to know the frequency it vibrates at and make plates to resonate at that frequency. It could work but.................don't really know for sure.

I'd be pretty tempted to give this a shot. I wonder how liberal Harbor Freight's return policy is.
