I was thinking about how to make the positive contact connection pass through the SS pot. (The pot itself is -)
Jetta suggested that the electrical contact wire could pass down the gas output tube.
Combining Jetta's idea to my problem, this is what I thought of:
Obtain a threaded SS tube about 1/4" -1/2" in diameter and about 2" long.
Anyone know where to get it?
(similar to the threaded tube used in desk lamps)
Pass the tube through the pot with an insulator/seal and nuts/washers on either side.
Connect the gas output to the tube.
Here's the trick: Connect a SS electrical contact to the tube with another nut inside the pot. Connect a copper wire to the tube with a nut on the outside.
The cell would have only 1 pass through to worry about!
Thanks again for the inspiration Jetta.
