great idea need second opinion

i am thinking of building a dry cell to produce hydrogen gas to fuel a 1000w small 4 stroke generator and can i do this is it anyway possible that i could take power that is been produced by the small generator and use it to produce more gas for the generator the way i was thinking of doing it was using a few good dry cell power them with a 12v dc battery or charger just to start producing hydrogen to start the petrol generator so that i can take the power 1000w and put it threw a rectifier back to the dry cells..if you can point out any flaws in this thankyou

if you mean you want to make cycle of producing gas and electricity continously without any other energy input you can't because there will be energy loss (efficency loss) in each cycle.
