Hello guys

I'm planning on making a 150 cc petrol engine run on only HHO has the will power a 200kg go-kart. Through a dry cell battery with a car battery attached to the go-kart, plus the alternator to recharge the battery.

What I'm asking to start off with is...

1. Is it even possible to run a petrol engine of that standard on HHO

2. Will I be able to recharge the battery as well as produce HHO to run the engine

3. The specs would be around

30MPG
Max 4000rpm
150cc ish
I will make the required amount of HHO in LPM if it's possible as feasible

Anything else you tell me that you think would be useful?

Thank you I'm new to this HHO business

There are a couple major problems with your idea:
Firstly, if you want to recharge a battery from an alternator, the alternator will need MORE energy than it puts into the battery. The battery then loses some efficiency making the HHO, the HHO then loses some efficiency running the engine, the engine then loses some efficiency running the alternator. Thus the energy you put into the system will be a lot more than what you get. You are talking about perpetual energy.
Second, .15L*4000rpm=600 L per minute in a 2 stroke engine. The electricity and rig required would not be feasible and probably would not even fit in a go-kart.
Third, I think you would have a very hard time reliably converting a gasoline engine to run HHO.
Good luck!
