I am a newbe.

Gathering materials for a small dry cell to make a jewler torch

have searched and read about gasket meterials general guidance is to use EDM

found this and it is one of several EDM materials. It i in the surplus list

will this work for a 4X4 dry cell

there is aslo an EDM Rubber material listed, is that what I really need?

Go with Buna-N (nitrile). I use FDA grade white 1/16" thick. You can't go wrong with this material. It is tough, yet flexible and makes a very good seal. Some kinds of EPDM have been found to be conductive. I discovered this to be true by accident.
