so im bummed. I mounted my resevoir and dry cell onto a beautiful sheet of 1/4" acrylic with nuts/washers/bolts and everything was perfect. Not thinking, I mounted the brackets for my bubbler and dryer with threaded screws(no washers/nuts). I drill the holes just barely smaller than the screws and even heated them up and lubricated the acrylic so as not to crack the acrylic. I was attempting to take a short cut because the screws mouonted so flush with the brackets. This morning I woke up and found cracks all over the place :( its still usable but it was going to be so nice to have everything just floating there! and now there spider cracks. WAAAAAHHHHHHH :'(
Dont make this mistake if you decide to use plastic to mounts your things! drill holes, use machine screws,washers/locknuts!
