Has anyone ever tried leaving there plates long so to act as cooling fins.The nuetral plates that is.Don't know if tis would work.Be cool if it did.I'll be designing my next cell soon maybe give it a try.I know some risk of short.If done correctly could work.Thanks

To much risk of shorting on something. There really is no excessive heat if everything is working and designed correctly. When there is to much heat there is some kind of a problem and will defeat the whole purpose. Heat over a certain amount is lost energy. It would be better to increase the reservoir to help keep things cool. To big and things will not heat up enough.
