I've put together several system for my Bimmer club for the E30's, mainly for the quick throttle response during autocross events, but now several elected to keep them on their car for the road racing. I might be missing or not looking hard enough for some documentation on how HHO affects total combustion. It is do able to install a system for sole purpose of assisting efficient and throttle response.

since most of them were E30's with 1.8l, .7-1.5 lpm was being induced. As far, as timing. they were retard from the "All In" timing not from the initial setting, it was 2-4 degrees retard.
