I've heard of people using rubber, nylon, pvc, copper, or other plastics. Some people use stuff that comes from pet stores (aquarium tubing), high-pressure water hoses, or hydraulic lines.

My question is, what tubing is most resistant to the chemistry of a KOH electrolyte? What should you definitely avoid? I'm looking for longevity and low-maintenance here.

Thanks

Virtually all of the tubings you have mentioned can with stand the KOH. That is not the problem, the heat is the problem. So the best I have found local is the braided hose from hardware store or heater hose, but you can get better online, just Google hose and you can look at all the specs for different hoses on the sellers site, and pick one with at least double the heat rating you need.
