im a smart senior in high school and i thought of this electrolysis idea on my own but when i went to research it i found out that other people already got it running.damn, too slow. anyways i have already read that KOH and NaOH are the best electrolytes for making an electrolysis unit.
my idea is to get a container of water, add NaOH. then insert two stainless steel plates and hook them up to a car battery. the resulting gas should be 2H2O2 and would be injected straight into my cars intake. i understand that the compression should be changed to run it lean. but i have a computer comtrolled car that is old enough that i dont know how to tune it.
its an 89 mustang if that helps anyone.
