Hi, I want to make the pipe cell, A pipe within a pipe. I have quit a bit of galvanized steel pipe. Will this work.

No, it must be stainless steel- preferably 316L. Glavanized steel will corrode very fast.

Bathroom handle bar pipes work good from my little test.
Its just a pain to fine the smaller/larger size since there is a stanard most people use that i guess....
I went around to business that were remoddeling their bathrooms or just finished building and asked if they had anything left over.... I got a few small pieces and they seem to work perfectly...
Not much production for me, but its only 4" tall, if that....
