Plate Thickness. What's the Consensus?

can we agree at all on how thick plates should be?

ive seen some people recommend REALLY thin...not sure why other then being able to cram a lot in a small space, but then they warp over time..

so other ppl say really thick so they last...

what is a good middle ground, maybe closer to the thick side? i want to order my plates tomorrow...

i want these plates to not be able to be bent by accident, not to warp over months of in-car use, and to generally stand up well, what thickness in gauge preferably should i get? im thinking something like 14 gauge?

I used 22 gage SS plates. It is very difficult to work with. My last cell I used 30 gage, it is much easier to work with and is still very strong.
