I use O2 Extenders to keep the sensor out of the exhaust flow. This way it is not so obvious at state inspection. They are fairly cheap. I suggest you get stainless steel to avoid rust.

I have a 2003 Chevy blazer and o2 extenders is all I use. If you don't have good o2 senors you'll have to live with your check engine light. What type of system do you have? These vehicles are very hard to install kits. I've done a few changes on my vehicle. Any questions if I can help. Ask.

I don’t see why an o2 extender would do what is needed in these applications. Has anyone used something like this? http://www.o2simulator.com lots of people use something like this then why remove their cats from their exhaust to run straight pips. Would this not work more for this application?
