Please use this thread to describe your testings.
Only automotive applications please=car battery like power source.
amp meter ,volt meter, hho l/m mesuring device,
Describe:
-amps
-voltage
-liter/minute
-temperature
Then clearly describe design:
-steel used
-plates design :dimensions ,spacing
-enclosure design
-solution

-EN 1.4460 SS (magnetic 3x8 spatula www.waresdirect.com)
- 9 plate 3x8x1mm(about 21ga submerged leaving about 1/2"above water) +nnn-nnn+ 4x5/8" aligned holes in each neutral,1.5mm spacing(little larger that plate thickness it self)
- active area 202.5 sq.inch
-pvc 3" pluming (home depot)
-pinch of KOH flakes/distilated water (ebay from snackking)

This is a great thread. It's just the info. I was looking for.
My interests are in the following parameters.
1. LPMs,
2. Power(Volts and Amps),
3. Active Surface Area of the electrodes(i.e. if 2 square plates are used and they measure 1" by 1"(thickness does not count) and they are fully submerged then that is 2 square inches of active surface area.
4. Plate spacing,
5. Chemical used,
6. Electrolyte temperature(after settling).
PLEASE, if anyone looking into this thread has a variable power supply hooked up to their electrolyzer, please step the voltage a few times, measure the LPMs and report your findings.
