Am installing HHO on Mitsubishi turbo diesel (3200cc)

Have seen various ideas for injection ranging from the inlet manifold right back to the inlet pipe of the air filter.

How have you turbo diesel guys injected hho into your motors and have there been any problems with the turbo ??

The guys a panacea university suggest the air filter box, pre filter as probably the best point.

Any ideas ???

hhotek,

Why not feed at the inlet manifold as long as you have a 1 way valve at the inlet manifold to prevent back thrust?

if your saying what i think you are which is putting a check valve on the charged side. heres why that would not work a typical diesel turbo setup is anywhere from 10-35lbs of boost a hho system may created 1-3 lbs of pressure at most therefore you would have more pressure on one side of the valve which would hold it closed until you created enough hydrogen to overcome the boost on the charged side this is not a safe practice at all because a hydrogen cell that has built up 15 lbs of pressure contains quite a bit of hydrogen which is a recipe for disaster.

When/how often does turbo boost occure?
Maybe a vacuum sensor relay switch to switch cell on when vacuum and switch off when boost?

I think one of the real problems with introducing HHO after the turbo is, you would have more HHO being delivered at idle, and less (or none) at acceleration.
And worst than that, upon deceleration your HHO delivery would increace.

Pretty much working the opposite way you would want it too.
