Has anyone tried supply their engine with pure H2? Most cell designs produce a mixture of H2 and O2, but this is very dangerous as a single spark could set the whole cell off. e.g. for whatever reason, plates touching.

I've been tinkering with PVC pipe fittings, and I've come up with a modified Hoffman Apparatus. Actually, it's like a bunch of Hoffmans in parallel, but electrically in series. This way, the gases are seperated, but the voltage is split between each cell. It's pretty cool venting only the H2, and having a nice steady flame coming out.

So, any use for such a thing? Has anyone played with something like this?

There is a forum at www.fuel-saver.org that is dedicated to hydrogen only.
