After about 1.5 to 2 hours my dry cells start heating up and then my ATX power supply that is rated at 28 amp at 12vdc lets the smoke out. I have a 20amp fuse on the secondary and that didn't blow. Anyone one have a solution? I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

Sounds to me that your ATX is getting hot and it is overrated for what it can continuously deliver.

Open up the box and/or drill some holes or add another fan.

It's got two fans in it now. I think it is over rated. The brand names "Green" it is junk. I think I'm going to use a MOT and a PWM.

Thanks for the insite.

What type fuse are you using? slow blow or straight slow blows can go way higher then 28 amps
