Ed Begley Jr. has always been a sort of idol of mine. He has successfully lived off the grid for years. Owning an EV1 and living like he does would have been the way to go.
Course I would still have to have my haul anything, gas guzzling beast of a truck, but for getting to and from work the EV1 would have been a great car.

How clean is the source of the electricity? compare that pollution/power to a comparable powered ICE/pollution in autos.
Do they address that key question in any of these 10 videos?
