I have built a 6 X 6 dry cell 21 plate from 18 gauge stainless steel. The gaskets are made from 40mm shower pan liner. I am running 30 amps with KOH but only getting 1.7 liters per minute. I am putting this on my 93 GMC 1500 with a 5.7 liter motor. I removed the factory 105 amp alternator and replaced it with a 160amp from summit. I am running 3 postives and 2 negative and 4 neutrals in between each. How can i get more liters per minute?

Now its time to start playing... :)

There are several threads that talk about reducing the current leakage and how to deal with it. I have had real good luck with marine epoxy. Shane Jackson is using custom dental tray material. H2OPWR was having good luck with Plasti-dip for tools.

This thread explains a lot:

First add 1 more neutral. With 4 n plates you are wasting way too much electricity making heat. After you do that start doing your best to block the waste electricity that runs through the holes (current leakage). You will make many nice gains!

PS. Widen that gap. The bubbles in that small of gap will impeed ion flow.
