I'm Building this unit but like other builders have alot of questions.
1) What gauge of sheet metal is in electrolyzer?
2) Do the bolts that hold the cell together have to be stainless since they do not have contact with the water?

The guy sounds alright, don't they have feedback info available ? Seems easy enough to me.

316 L, 18,20.22 ga SS is about industry standard these days

If they bolts have sleeves , then no
If your using KOH, then yes , I would use stainless, why not spend the coin on the good stuff.

hope it helps, untill you get some answers from the HHO HHU guys.

I have a question:

Why would you want to spend more money to heat your home with HHO than you would spend of you heated it directly with grid electricity?

From what has been discribe that they use for an electrolyser, you would probably be better off geting some like this $100 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HHO-HYDROGEN-GENERATOR-SEALED-DRY-CELL-WATCH-VIDEO_W0QQitemZ140314416113QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMoto rs_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item1403144161 13&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=65%3A1%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

Kasari, you might find this hard to build

I saw the web site. Very disappointing. The described unit has 7 video Tutorials & some ultra vague drawings, some not so bad. some issues i have with this.

1. Only one Flame,
2. Manual start and stop
3. No thermostat
4. Only about 75 % of the info you need the build it. (IMO it leaves more questions then answers)
5. Only some of the parts you need are described or available
6. No question and answer page
7. No forum or contact point
8. It appears they expect the circulating fan air to suck the heat through one 1/2" pipe Via a funnel?? (again vague)
9. No overall look at how the whole thing goes to together.
10. They seem to have heat sinks for the hho/... coming out of the electrolyser. ??? ( they might not need that if the cell was built to run cooler)

The best thing they seem to have going in there link to this Forum.

HHO works..... Does HHO work for heating????

These plans suck.

I agree, it would be cheaper to use a electric heater for the home i just picked up a huge UPS, my thought is to make a small wind mill to drive a car alt and have that charge the battery in the UPS to run power in my shop plus electric heaters
