Can anyone tell me the correct ammount of lye to use in a gallon of distilled water? I am using one level tea spoon per quart. Do I need more or less?
I need to produce enough has for Jeep Wrangler.

Thanks

Charlie

It depends on your setup install a amp gauge, the more lye you use the higher amps it will produce,Maybe get a 40 amp relay and breaker install under the hood so you can monitor the correct amount of lye needed.Do not exceed your relay or breaker limitations.

I have a volt/ohm meter but don't know how to hook it up to show amps while running the HHO cells. Any hints?

The in dash meters are too costly ( I think)

Thanks,

You can use a volt meter to show amps by using a 'shunt'.

Take some 10 gauge wire to run the positive power to your cell, measure out 14" along the wire and place the negative probe at the end closest to the power source and the positive probe at the end of the 14" closest to the cell.

Your voltmeter will give a reading in millivolts, this is the approximate number of amps.
