what is the best configuration for a dry cell on low power 12v up to 5 amps with baking soda
how many plates ?
plates size?
gap?
conf + - nnn?
i plan to use this on my scooter 100cc 4 strokes

You should aim for 2 volts per plate gap. If your system has 12 volts then +nnnnn- would be best. If with the 5 amp load your voltage drops below 12 as it can sometimes then you should drop to +nnnn-. I would hook up a 5 amp draw to the system and then measure the voltage. If you are still 12+ volts then go with +nnnnn-. You will not need very large plates with only drawing 5 amps. That task is going to be tough to do. With as small of charging system that is on your scooter if your voltage spikes for any reason you could be in alot of trouble. Be cautious.
