just had a brain fart.....

had to stop my mpg run cause my bubbler had frozen

different peeps say add different things

my thought is why not use diesel as a bubbler liquid as it has a winter additive to stop it freezing

thoughts?

I put windshield washer fluid in mine (water and isopropyl alcohol).

Anyone know if vinegar will freeze?

Distilled white vinegar does, but a much stronger mix may not?

i've read where some people are modifing those large tractor see through tractor fuel filters and filling it with brake fluid. it totally elliminates any water in the gas.

I just put some water mixed with denatured alcohol, probably 1/4 alcohol. I don't know if you even need that much, but I have never had any problems with freezing.

Hope this helps.
