which cell will run cooler

Pushing both pretty hard and everything else being the same, will a 16 plate 8x8 run cooler or hotter than a 21 plate 6x6?

The 16 plate 8x8 should have a little more output but Im not really concerned with that as much

I guess Im needing to know where the heat comes from. More plates or more area/fewer plates. Im worried about the heat of the summer

Shane is absolutely correct. Current leakage is heat and wasted current. More plare area and fewer holes will perform better.
