would like to make a powerful HHO torch at home for cutting/melting thick
steel. the last but most important part of my prject im missing is a good
home operated power supply i know i need something large possibly self built
dont know much about electronics and power but will be glad to learn this last
peace of the puzzle i have built small hho torches from computer power supplys and they arent impressive great for cuting beer cans but not real stuff.i am also low on money and dont intend on buying one or a fleet of car
batteries. I want to build a power supply from trash or old electronic junk
just need to know what junk to look for i have a guy thats good at this he can stop me from killing my self:confused:

Theoretically you could just build your HHO generator to handle the AC current of your house. At 110 VAC you would need 56 plates to get you down to the 2 volt plate gap. Just be cautious of how much current you are drawing as most home circuit breakers are only rated up to 15 - 20 Amps. It is simple enough to control current by adjusting your electrolyte.
