Anything non-electroletic can be used to wrap your cell. The most important thing is to not all water to circulate arount the plate edges.

What are some things people are using to wrap their cells - any one have any pictures of a wrapped so we can see what you're talking about???

Cell wraps can be any number of different things but the one that seems to do best is shrink wrap tubing.

rubber mastic tape= Home depot electronics section

works quite well, electrolyte doesn't degrade adhesive

Thanks for the info and pic. but does anybody know were to get the stuff in the photo that smack is using. I will try Home Depot

I just used rubber splicing tape found at Lowes. The stuff is only $2.60/roll and is very flexible and doesnt have adhesive so no nasty goo left over in the cell. Heat shrink tubing is best but more costly, especially if you screwed up.
