Great forum here, I have been lurking for a couple months now and have learned so much here.
After a few experiments in wet cells with some success I built a 13 plate dry cell 6" X 6" that produced 1lpm at about 22 amp with a pwm to control the current. After a 400 mile trip and no mileage improvement I have just added 12 plates for a total of 25 and have wired in a -nnnnn+nnnnn-nnnnn+nnnnn- configuration. My problem is not being able to get the amps up to much more then 13 with approx 14 tsp of naoh in two qts of h2o. I would like to run this at about 25 to 30 amps and am hoping for at least 1 1/2 to 2 lpm. Should I just keep adding naoh till I get there? Just seems like alot of lye. Thanks in advance for your advice.

I just finished my Tero cell and i am getting 5.1 amps with about 7 teaspoons of Noah , so the only way to get more amps from what i have found researching is increase your plate gap 5 to 8 mm for from 10 to 40 amps depending on you setup and mixture, i wish i would done more research before i put one together :o, o well all in is good.:D

Hi
I just built one today (tero) from what I read all you have to do is increase your concentration to raise the amps

When I built my first dry cell, I thought the same thing, "Wow you have to use a lot of this stuff." But that is how it is. My bath cell hardly needed any at all, but my dry cell needs quite a bit in comparison.

The AMOEBA CELL will get you what you seek.

2.2 LPM with 15 ea 6x6 and 1/32 spacing.
