What is the best material to use for spacing between plates and using on the ends? Polycarb is out due to reaction with KOH. Nylon for spacing? Also, what size? Any help is appreciated.

What type design have you chosen to build? Tero? Cell box?

You are correct nylon is the best,but it's overkill in the case of a true series cell,pvc sheet works just fine and won't empty your wallet as much.I 'm refurring only to the end plates when I state this,not spacers.

I used plumbers pack. Painless uses pvc shower lining. I think they both work. Read "Painless Experiment in HHO" and that should help.

PS. Mine seals fine.
