What material is better for the container of your generator? Plastic or Glass? Does it really matter?
Some answers would be appreciated :)

plastic doesnt break as easy as glass.
good materials : ABS
PVC
Thick lexan
stainless

I have made mine from PVC, but I wouldn't recommend it. I have already noticed the cap is starting to bulge and the thing is deforming from the heat. If you can house the glass in some way where its solid, has protection from debris, then it at least wont deform.

I can vouch for Pelican boxes. The plumabob/smith03jetta gen works great.
