I wanted to know how to find out how much my amp capacity is of my alternator. Also, how can I find out how many amps the car is using. How many amps should be left free if using an HHO kit?

I may be wrong, but, generally, a regular car alternator is about 100 amp, your car should only use half or less of the power. I think a descent rule of thumb for an hho generator would be about 30 amps or less. Hope this helps.

actully most cars have a 60 amp alternator or smaller, if u have a a/c than it would be bigger, and older cars and trucks have bigger one, dodge likes to put bigger one than necessary.

Depending on which alt you have it could be a 40, 60, 70, or 80amp. theres a bunch of different ones. Best to take #'s off your and call parts house and see which one you have.
