I just happened to know a place the i can get KOH for a low price. Its about 3 dollars a pound for me but they dont have to ship it. I believe shipping may be a little higher due to the corrosive nature of the material.

As for the 90% thing. It means the potash is not pure. Most of it is not. It should not be a problem.
