The goop is intended to be used as an adhesive for building or sealing our generators.

I note that it's maximum operating temp is 150F though, a little close to the mark?

oh ok. what are you using for the "case" of the generator? I have a smacks booster but am going to start a multiple cell in multiple bath box design shortly. mainly because I have a mount for a second battery that i dont use, so i can just put a generator there.

My cell doesn't have a case as such, it's a dry cell. The plates are sandwiched between two pieces of 1/4" acrylic.

I picked some of this up today for $3.97 in Lowes, just curious to try it out.

You don't need any glue with plexiglass, i heated it and bent it nicely into a box. I left a i" overhang at the 4 vertical edges, bent that around the corners and with my torch melted the seams to form a watertight seal then put a flat piece for the lid with silicone to hold it on. To take it off just run a blade around it then reglue it later. Works real good.

I think you want Goop Marine Adhesive. If you are using acrylic in your gen, the *approx* 150 *F (or up to 170 *F that I hear from most) of Goop Marine Adhesive won't be a factor as the acrylic has a max operating temp of approx 160-170 *F. Goop Marine Adhesive works great and is resistant up to approximately 25 tsp NaOH or KOH/Gal H2O.
