I have been building an EFIE module and have encountered one huge problem. They dont sell the potentiometers anymore. The part number is 17rot1-12. It is a single pole 12 way potentiometer. Could I use a 2 pole 6 way potentiometer?

If anyone has any suggestions please help. I believe this is what is holding me back.

redneckgearhead34,

The thing is actually a 6 pole single deck switch.

All Electronics sells a 7 position dual deck switch for $2. It has a matrix, and dosen't switch as straightforward as a single deck would. If you need I could translate what you need to hook up to achieve the 6 pole device.

Digi-key didn't have any low current (cheap) ones.

I appreciate the help but I am still stuck. I am still in highschool and have absolutely no knowledge of electronics. It is going on an EFIE from the famous D17.pdf. If you could look at that and see what else would work. Here is the link if you would like to look.
