I have been checking out posts on this site b/c I just got my first hho generator, I got a kit and the water4gas instructions and built mine. I have a 2002 ford focus with the 2.0 sohc motor. I have long tube headers so I have no cat. I put O2 extenders on both sensors and I am planning on making the map/maf enhancer using the 1 knob style instructions from water4gas. I saw a post with the instructions for the 2 knob style for hwy and city. I am wondering if I need the map/maf enhancer and an efie controller or the map/maf enhancer and O2 extenders alone or what? I want to make my own controller b/c theres no point in spending the money to buy one if I can make my own. Also I noticed on the water4gas instructions that that model is only supposed to draw 1-3 amps and that the others draw like 15-20, is that correct?
