I got the bright idea that I wanted to add a fuel flowmeter to monitor actual fuel usage. I was shocked to find most of the products marketed as fuel flow meters are in the $300-$400 range. Seems they are designed to measure fuel flow at the gas pump, Not for what I want. However I finally found one I think will work at http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp;jsessionid=IUPHCIKJTOQ2LLAQBBKCCNNMCAEFKI WE?id=0038200018534a&type=product&cmCat=perf&rid=0180101070502&xpid=k17401&cm_ven=Performics&cm_cat=Affiliate%2Dclick&cm_pla=Nextag&cm_ite=DDI%20Link&afsrc=1&_requestid=113341&_requestid=58288

It's made by Lowrance and appears to be exactly what I am looking for. I'll post details on how it works after I get it. At the moment I on a 500 mile road trip testing the performance of my modified "smack" cell.
