I think there is a need for a "containers" thread.

Has anyone seen these containers? If so what do you think?

I picked up a Stainless 64 oz "air tight" container from Bed bath and beyond that seems to work pretty good on a vacuum type system. It has an acrylic lid and gasket with a flip down cam type latch. For pressurized systems it seems to leak when heated. I use a Stainless container on both of my generators. My other one is a 3 quart salad bowl with a plexi lid. It works pretty good but is hard to find a mount for. Stainless disipates heat and will not melt or deform. So far two months on the salad bowl as the container and negitive with no signs of dammage.

For thoses of you planning on using the water filter housings from Lowes you may want to read it's temperature rating. The ones I seen today are only rated at 100degs.

I found this filter that has a polycarbonate housing. I'm not sure how big it is.

I'm using the PVC method, however, I did buy an 8 quart stainless pot w/ lid. I just haven't figured out how to hold the lid on yet.
You might try a stainless steel pressure cooker if you can find one. All I can find are the aluminum ones. You should not have a hard time fastening a pressure cooker lid.

I like the pressure cooker idea. But it would be hard to find one small enough for under the hood
